Line-X bedliner on xb?
So a buddy i work with just had parts of his truck line-exxed. My gf's father is rhino lining his dodge turbo diesel (it's old and was on a farm, paint is crap) and it got me thinking that i should line-x the gf's xb.
It has tons of scratches, been in 3 small accidents and personally i think it would look awesome, and protect if from future damage when she hits something else lol.
anyone have pics of a similar xb?
tell me what you think, good or bad.

I've seen a car done in Zolaton paint and it was OK. Line-x i think will look a bit rough and bumpy

Yea thats what I originally wanted to do but that's alot of work and not as durrable. I'm gonna wait til her father does his truck and see what I think, if it will work with the xb.

Re: Line-X bedliner on xb?
i had my jeep sprayed with bed liner and it was good for an offroad vehicle but i dont think it would suit a xB very well. i agree with the plasti dip though cause you can always change the color whenever you want without having to worry about ruining your paint

Re: Line-X bedliner on xb?
Yea I was worried about the added weight of linex.
The paint is pretty bad with quite a few scratches, so I'm not worried about the ability to revert back to stock.
You guys have me thinking though, keep the comments/ideas coming.

If you do the line-x you will not be able to go stock easily.....
The yellow part of this is Line-X

thanks for the pic, looks good. I am not worried about going stock, this car will remain in the family for a long time, it's the gf's right now but will become my work commuter. We have already tossed the idea around to start looking for a new low mileage replacement engine. right now we just hit 100k a couple weeks ago and it runs great.
i'm gonna keep talking to her dad about it and help him with his truck to see what i'm getting myself into. i may have 2 weeks off work starting this weekend so it might happen sooner than expected.

Ahhhhh---I don't think so BigRuss! cost is not much of an issue, a case of spray paint or plastidip will be about the same cost as the linex material.
I'm still highly considering it, i thought at least one person would think it was cool

Re: Line-X bedliner on xb?
I have my hatch handle covered with the truck bed spray from the DupliColor can. Sid had his fender flares done with something similar also. It's very durable.
