HI FRom Nuu Zeeland

Hi all. I'll be a XB or more so a toyota bB owner in a few days. I was driving a altezza/lexus but sold it on and have been thinking of making the move after strong recomdadtions of the xb/bb from Mr Billy Gibbons.. he now has two and he raves about them. although he has his slammed and in matt black Mine will be a more sedate car to begin with.. But I love that shape.. the old boxier shape to be more precise.. I know it polarizes most people even my wife to begin with but shes come around now..
I'm hoping to put on the cold air intake mod once i get it tho I'l have to ship it in from the states as its hard to get performance parts here in nz..
so hi all!

Welcome! It took my wife and I a bit to loosen up to our first xB. I couldn't imagine ever letting it go now though. You'll love yours and she will soon. Once you get a few bolt-on's setup you'll be in business. Welcome to the community and please share lots of pics when you can. I must say , I'm envious of your location. New Zealand is a beautiful place.

will probably make a start with cold air intake that seems to be the usual first pepp up? am I right. I'm not lookig to get crazy hp boosts or suddenly make it a really uneconomical car, thats the reason i sold my lexus is250 as i have mnoved into the country and wanted a leaner on fuel small wagon.. Plus I have been hooked with the little boxxy wagons since i first saw them and was reminded of them on Billys last visit thru nz with pete Chapouris from so-cal speed shop. they had pics of his first XB and it was just mindblowing..

Re: HI FRom Nuu Zeeland

Well I found my car a 2001 Toyota bB, which i belive is the same model as the first gen xB.. I'm really happy to have found one in m,y price range. there still not a common car here in nz so will be great to have something a little more unusual. Now to get some more gigs and same some money to lower it and get some nice wheels onto it.
