16x8.5 +15 , Will i rub in front or need camber?
16x8.5 +15 , Will i rub in front or need camber?
Should I run a 205 or 215 series tire? I plan to do a 50 profile to stick with stock rolling diameter for daily use. Since the xB has 0 camber naturally up front, would running -1 or -1.5 up front will help me clear the fender up front? I know the rear is perfectly fine with a roll.

If you are planning on running a stretch, it is going to throw off the factory spec anyway. May not be significant, thee is no real way to tell unless you try it first. Go with thinner and then you can space the fender if need be. You can get 3/4" or 1" without throwing off the alignment of the front bumper.

Cool, I'l try the fender washer spacer first before adding camber. Because this new setup is 11mm more aggressive than my past 17x8 +20 setup. 16x8.5 +15 is equivalent to a 16x8 +9mm wheel.

Maybe a 205/45R16 tire will help with cushioning the ride a bit.

I don't want to run a 195 on a 8.5 wide rim, that's a bit more stretch than I want in a daily driver.

204/45 would look sick on an 8.5 prolly be a good stretch, depending on brand

Might not be much use but I'm running 16x7 +35 with 205/50 tires and I only rub slightly in the rear with zero camber on it.

I can't believe you rub at all with those specs! Could use a shorter tire maybe...

could it be possible that the rubbing sound is from the tire rubbing your strut?
