I've been lurking for a few days and figured I'd make my first introduction post. I'm in Tracy, CA...

Ever since riding in my buddy's 2006 XB I've always liked them. He drove the heck out of that thing and got over 300,000 miles out of it before he sold it...

Since I just sold my 06 Charger V6, I was looking for a nice little utilitarian commuter that was reliable and got good mileage. I checked craigslist and I found this little 2011 XB with only 18000 miles in like new condition. The previous owner was very meticulous and kept every document and receipt. He added the TRD lowering springs, Liquid Metal Splice 16" chrome wheels, Tint, body side molding, clear vinyl paint protection kit, tow hitch for bike rack, Rhino rack, weather resistant rubber floor mats...

I plan to install the TRD rear sway, TRD Intake, TRD Muffler, TRD strut tower brace, rear spoiler, and underseat powered subwoofer. Look forward to gleaning info out of this forum...

Congrats on the new ride! I just got a 2012 xB, and the other vehicle I was considering was a 2006-2007 Charger R/T. I have always loved the looks of those Chargers, and they drive so great too! But for the same price I was comparing a 2006 Charger R/T with 55k mi with an almost-new 2012 xB. And the decision was made =)

It may take me a while to get up to 30 posts since I usually just lurk. I guess it does give people more of a reason to participate though...

I got my Sub installed yesterday. I also took the door panel off to inspect the speaker in there. I drilled out the rivets and took the speaker off to take some measurements. I'm going to make some adapter plates for my Eclipse mids and then add a pair of 6.5" 2 ways in the rear doors...

I run Eclipse speakers in one of my trucks. Really nice sound and the head units are hard to beat for SQ.
