Wheel shopping!
So I'm currently wheel shopping. I spend hours upon hours flipping through build threads and checking the few sites I know. Does anybody know of a site that has massive amounts of wheels posted. That or is able to list a good amount of wheel companies Not just the 4 or 5 companies that are well known. Have never been a fan of shopping online so this is a hard decision for me. Am really leaning towards a mesh style wheel that or the works mayhembb had or the TRD's that poru( Paul) had in his. Can't find any in the colors I'm looking for though and at my price range.

Try the basic sites like Discounttire, wheelsnext, nlmotoring, even ebay for inexpensive wheels.
Or score a set in the classifieds on here.

Re: Wheel shopping!
i just recommend if you shop online to call the place to order. Many of the sites ive come across make you enter the vehicle info therefore only show you high offset wheels. They act like low or even mid offset wont fix an xB.

some legit places like NLM know our vehicle though, so no worries there...LOL

Re: Wheel shopping!
It all depends on what your looking for. If anything just cruise the classified on here, bBsquad or even VW vortex for ideas on used wheels. I used NL motoring when I bought my XXR's. Was very impressed with their service and selection. Good luck and let us know what you come up with!

Re: Wheel shopping!
Honestly my rear brake drum thingies are all sorts of rusted. Would look rather tacky to have some nice rims on em then bow! RUST! thinking i need to have that whole setup replaced first. Then go rims. That or can i just take a steel brush to em and clean it off?

Heck yeah, I tried to buy gold 92s with tires last year for $1,001 shipped, but they called saying out of stock.
They are guys running all 3 colors so you can check them out first.
I think the J speeds would look noice.

Re: Wheel shopping!
Most of the "chrome" lips ya'll are referring to are actually machine polished. Those enkeis prolly have a clear coat on them, so if they are curbed or something, you will have to strip the whole lip and polish them. The machine finish actually holds up pretty well on a lot of the cheaper wheels. They may not even have a clear on them, I cannot be sure. Actual chrome lips would make each wheel about $150 more lol.

Re: Wheel shopping!
Nah, most people don't really know. In fact, it is hard to tell if you get a good polish on a set of wheels. But I threw in a "ya'll" for good measure lol.
