04 05 06 07 Scion xB TL Full Body Kit (good?)
Hey guys, recently had a scare and my car was missing, but now it's found!
So I now have a new found respect for my whip, and I'm thinking of a rebuild.
Came across this kit, and was wondering if anyone knows what it is or of it's fitment... looks like a FAB knockoff?
EBAY LINK
Honestly, I don't have the cash for a OG kit, but my ride could use a facelift.
Any other suggestions would be great.
(note: I do need a full KIT, not just a lip kit. My front and back bumper have seen better days)

Oh she used to be so pretty...

99% of full body kits need to be tweaked to fit properly. Be it molded, shaped, or whatever.

Could get that lucky 1% that fits!
So somebody near Covina should check that kit out.

I have a chance to buy a prefitted used kit kinda cheap and want feed back my self. The kit has a detachable front lip since I feel it's too much and I'm too low to run it.

The center grills in our bumpers provide airflow to the radiator. Shaved like that though...I'd be leery...

So you're going to use an extra fan to pull air from where??? because the reason the factory puller fan is there is because it pulls air that flows through the front bumper.

put it on the front to push it through... besides you have the lower grill that also pulls air in there... me and my dad were talking about that yesterday.. he did that to his 91 Camry he drives every day.. he sits in bumper to bumper traffic and it helps keep it cool

So then you're just pushing air that's caught up in the bumper. Still an inefficient design. Not saying it wont work, just inefficient.

not really inefficient... because the factory fan is only in the middle of the radiator so 2 smaller ones pushing air would be better than just 1 pulling

So two fans pushing some air that's caught up circulating inside a sealed bumper is better than one shrouded fan pulling air that's coming at a constant flow rate? Ill just take your word for it.

But how would it look on the Cherry Pearl? This is a local guy and he has no issues with overheating.

I'm not sure if Ducky is on this forum, but theres a yellow xb in my area (Atlanta) I see rolling around with the same or nearly same front end, If i bump into him again I'll ask if he's had heating issues.

Re: 04 05 06 07 Scion xB TL Full Body Kit (good?)
If the bottom grill still allows air, could the extra fan on the radiator pull air through there? Then the kit is doable -- It looks very nice, so I hope you get it!
