Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
So here's my question... I have a chance to pick up 4 pcs of 16x8et30 rims or 2 pcs of 16x8et30 for the fronts and 2 pcs of 16x9et15 for the rear. I tried the search button but i wanted to see more. It would be much help for me if you can post images with 16x8et30 all around and 16x8et30 fronts with 16x9et15 rears and please, if you can also include if it is cambered or not and what spacer size was used. Thanks all! It would be a big help for newbies like me.

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
here is a pic of 16x9 et 15 all around
the 16x8 et 30 will be pretty far in
while this is a 15x8 +25 it will sink in 5mm more compared to what you are looking for
---------- Post added 03-16-2012 at 12:42 PM ----------
and as for a reference, 'good' offsets for xB's are based on an 8" wide wheel +10 front, 0 rear for flush
also this thread you should look through.

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
Thanks for the refference pics sir. It helped a lot in visualizing what i wanted. With regerds to the first pic, is it cambered and spaced for the rear? I like how the rear seats but i think i want the second pic's front offset. Does 16x8et30 with 25mm spacers for the rear with 0 camber will be flushed without rubbing? Because the best i can do is roll the rear tirewells. I have no chance of getting rear camber kits down here unless i order it there in the states but shipping cost might be expensive. With regards to the front, will 16x8et30 work without using some spacers?

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
the first pic is 16x9 et 15 all around and the second pic is 15x8 +25 all around. the second pic has no spacers anywhere the back is sunk in 10mm than the fronts which is why it looks kinda weird.
you won't need spacers or camber for the rears but you might want to run some stretch like a 215 or 205 if you are comfortable with it.
the front's should be fine with out spacers since the stock upgrade trd wheels are 18x7.5 +45 and they clear with out spacers

Noted sir! Thanks so much for enlightening me regarding wheel fitment.

I might get the 16x9 rear ang 16x8 fronts. Is it common for xb's to have a staggered rim setup? I'm also planning to use 205x40x16 tires front and rear

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
mmm I haven't seen it too often for the lack of legitimately staggered wheels available. Of course in the world of work wheels and that sort its very common.
205/40 will be fine and dandy.
Also incase in you need just a WEE bit of camber check these out:
http://www.clubxb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34873
they aren't expensive, i think no more than 50 for two of the them (one for each side)

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
you're welcome. those are only good up to 2 degrees either way, for anything more you can easily get -3 camber shims via http://www.2zero6factory.com/ and -5 can also be had but I am not too certain from where.

Depends on how low you are or want to go, -5 will clear with fender rolled and -3 slammed is cutting it close.

16x9+15f, 16x9+5 rear. Running a 10mm spacer in the rear with -5 camber also.

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
If you do 16x9+15 up front your gonna have to space the front fenders, mine are spaced just over a 1/2" on each side.

Re: Need help re: 16x8et30 and 16x9et15
For -3 camber a 5mm spacer should be about right

The first one has Borbet Type A's. The second one looks like Enkie 92's.
