So I figure it's time I stop creepin' others build threads and make my own rendition...This will be mostly randoms from beginning to now and what's next..

Week 1..this was a great week.. Looked at a good 7 or 8 b's before this one came by. Swooped her up for dirt cheap too.. Good ol' craigslist!

Bone stock, just some 18's.

First things first.. cooked and blacked out the tails..supermanwheelgap

I then swapped up the suspension to tenzo r springs and echo struts..Upgraded to the DC sports cs-2 strut bar (pain in the ass to change spark plugs with but looks fantastic)

Cooked and blacked out the heads and Swapped to some 19's for a short period..

Swapped up the wheels again to 17's and got a Yakima rack with fairing and basket..

Wrapped the interior with some green soft back vinyl..

Then got some bumps..REAUDIOFTW

Got a bB upper dash and did a little chop cut rebuild ish with the oem one to merge the two.. came out fairly clean.. also got some custom Agate shift knobs.. one of a kind ;-) Soon to have matching HVAC knobs with discs of Agate.

good ol' phoenix dust storms..

ROAD TRIP! and probably my 4'th grille in the mean time.. I think my second bB badge too..

upgraded to 15x8's and some other grille and yota badge

sold that grille and shaved my oem one..did a little dik'n around in paint..

sold the 15's and upgraded to 16's with 195/45's

taillight covers came and gone..

upgraded to the DC2 exhaust and AEM Cold air intake. Currently running 6k HID's . Sold the system and upgraded to a full pioneer component system with shaved fg'd tweeters..

recently upgraded the basketcase to a loadwarrior and made a custom fairing.. installed some sonar tails and full billets.. im obessed with the bB badge so I'll run it on any grille. lol.

I'm almost finished repairing a spirits style wing I'll probably be runnin'. And I swooped up on a strup header I've still gotta get around to installing..

Soon new paint will come.. The color is decided but the date is not. It was scheduled for like 2 months ago but a kitchen remodel was apperently more important

Thanks errrbuuuddy. Actually I've gone through 3 sets of spacers without installing them. Never got around to it and just resold em. I NEED to swoop up a set of 10-15mm and ACTUALLY Install them. Oddly I dig poke over flush. I like the aggressive look. Maybe I should install those when i do my header

All this without mentioning that I've got a full fab kit with molded flares to install. Its BNABOX's old setup. To be honest, I'm STILL up in the air on whether or not to repair and install it. I've also thought about just choppin' off the flares and selling the rest.. I think I'm mostly worried about having a fiberglass front end..I'd feel more comfortable with something more flexible for the wife and I's "oopsies".

Part of what made that kit look great on BNABOX is the wild paint job. Match that kit to TCM paint and you'll have different feel. It just needs to be offset IMO.
I liked seeing all the different wheels you went through. The 17's looked sharp, and everything else is cool too. The perforated grill you were running earlier- is it a real RS2?

I've been trying to picture the kit the color the car will be but its difficult. Also, I'd like to smooth the flares and fill em. Decisions decisions. I doubt Tue grille is legit. I got it in a trade a year or two ago. Bolts to an OEM grille. Selling it for like $25

Looking good man. I think fitment>paint for that kit. It will have a different feel to it all solid and lighter. This is your chance to pull off the wheel fitment for which that kit has been begging. DO IT!

thanks Joe for all the support and help. Every day I lean towards the kit being installed and just running it. Its so much work but so worth it in the end if its all done correct. If it all goes through and works out, once the kit is done wheels will go up for sale and my first set of legit wheels will meet my b. Just thinkin of it gets me all gitty

Trying fitment with the wing today..higher or lower? opinions...? I know this style wing (I believe spirits style) is often mounted flat and straight back. Mounted more low than high. I'm just playing ideas right now. It will be painted along with the rest of the b in the next few months..

don't mind the rear lip or gap..all will be take'n care of soon

been sittin' on these for a bit keepin em' on low low...Idk if I should try to get them refinished or not. The lips are a bit janky but I want something decent to run for TORC. Anyone got a spare 215/35zr18 chillin or a matching set of 4 tires with good tread? They look like 20's but demz some 18x8.5's

Playin around with the wheels today. Figured I'd see what I'm workin' with..

Obviously Need to get the air setup together already...Got Gap for days!

I'd like a little more poke and camber for the rear..

Little camber necessary up front too..

Then a 30 second job in Paint..DEFINITELY need air!

I'm anxious to get my chrome mirror covers on but I want to get paint first. Hopefully paint happens before TORC, but right now my main focus is getting these wheels refinished. My paint isn't the best but it might do. I've got a few tiny dents here and there that bug the sh!t out of me, but to have these wheels redone would be much better right now.
