So, at the request of Toup and i_b_AO, I figured I would post some pics of my ride. I post a few pics here and there, but never many together so people don't know my whip. We're going to do this properly and start from day 0, complete with 4x4 stance and r1cy vinyl. Let this be an inspiration to those younger members here, work hard, save your $$, and you too can have a sick whip. I'm 18 now and you can see everything I have. This was my first car. I got the car for my grades and everything else I have paid for.
Disclaimer: I've probably forgotten a few things. For example, de-badging.
Lookin ghetto:
Vinyl removed:
More boom needed (setup is still like this. Something big in the works, but I'm debating expensive audio since I'll be parking on college campuses...):
Then I decided I didn't like stock tails. Paint them bishes!
I got sick of the stock 3rd brake light...so I made a LED one: (I may be making more of these, PM me if interested)
Then I got tired of my stock tails...time for something rare. How about 1 of the 3 sets of these in the US at the time? (I thinkt here are 5 now) Old school Garson TYC tails:
Old vs. new (note interior)
I got sick of the stock interior...so I just redid it all in suede.
Chrome-bug bit me and I hunted down a set of out of production, brand new, TRD chrome handles:

With the chrome on the outside, I figured it was time to detail the engine bay a bit:
Cleared headlights:
After a long hiatus from modding, I had enough money saved up for my suspension system. We're going down on air!

For the love of God people, please keep wiring organized. It's worth the effort:

Dual water traps for those lovely winters...yep, it's a daily driver.

Estimating drop:
I drove around like this for a long time. Broke some fittings so I reworked the valves for more ground clearance:
I wanted to get as low as easystreet front struts...problem is I had a UAS setup. Oh well, time to modify stock struts. Yes, this is lower than the new ES struts or level with drop plates (I compared them to the first new set being tested, thanks Jay!):

old ride height:
Then I decided I wanted to lower the rear a bit more and some power, Tsudo N1 axle-back and monroe 5870's minus bump stops.
Then winter came:
Then the temperatures dropped:
Then circuit city had a blowout thanks to the economy:
Random pics:
Sexiest winter mode shot?
And finally, proof that you can daily drive a bagged car in freezing conditions. Meet my car last week:
Edit: I have more awesome pics somewhere, but it's too late for me to upload them all. lol
