Wally-World-Fogs-SICK!

So, heres the latest mod, that i was so satsified with! I went to walmart with like $19.00 burning its way out of my pocket. I don't know why but on the way there I saw a Kia Sequoia with foglights and i'm thinking, Why the donkey do i not have any fogs. So i'm thinking maybe when i get home i'll look for some sick JDM bb's, but i never really liked those just because everyone had them around my area (like me and 5 other b's). So i'm thinking i'm going to get some tire shine or glass wipes...

all of a sudden i see these lights and i thought... Aaaahhh yea...
So i pick them up and these are actually for off road trucks so i think, hey they;re probably tuff too and i bet with some tucking and fabbing i can fit em right in the lower grille piece and they came with Halogen super bright bulbs.

So i get home and install them and they dont work, F***! turns out the grounds i had were crap so i moved them and had myself a $15 set of fogs!

After about a day of the switch they supply you with I got a harness map and wired them into the parking lights for that aggresive street glow for the daytime. check it

Like I said above the switch stayed for about 3 hours then i had to scrunch up in my foot area and do some splicing nonsense. Not hard at all, if and when anyone gets a set all you do is take the wire that combines the two fogs together and run that straight into the parking light wire.

the wire should be a green solid wire that reads a positive when park lights and headlights are engaged(anything other than that could be the door sensor that dings when the door is open so be careful not to tag that one). splice into that sucker, sotter it up and you've just kept it clean...

BTW Tofu> where did you get that exhaust tip heat shield. I want one!

Re: Wally-World-Fogs-SICK!

A little warning on those Walmart fogs...THEY SUCK!

I bought some last year for my Sentra LE and they didn't even last long...maybe 2 months! After a few rainstorms and some car washes, the water got inside of the lenses and rusted them out and blew out the bulbs.

Sorry to burst some of your bubbles but you've been forwarned...

The only thing that has happened to mine is a rock busting the glass lens on it. Mine have been on for like 3 years now with no probs.

Re: Wally-World-Fogs-SICK!

^^Geese..MAke it hard for me to make up if I want these or not..Lolz..I'll prolly not end up getting them...Because I like having the option to put my toe hook in..and when I get pulled over for no front plate I was gunna mount it down there..and with those fogs..both of those would not be an option...

Like I said it's not even a big investment for those who are looking for the longterm.

I'll be the first to say when they break. K?
