I put a set of these Goodyear Comfortreads on the 08' xB about a month ago, then made a couple of trips totaling about 5K miles.

These tires are really quiet and handle very well.

Did a lot of research on Tire Rack before deciding what to get, and that appears to have paid off.

The width of these tires is about the same as the 55's i had on the xB before, and the height is only about 1/4 inch taller radius.

The speedometer is now more accurate to actual speed than it was before according to Garmin.

I was wondering how these would affect my mpg's and that appears to be minimal if any at all

The taller side wall will certainly aid in a smoother ride IMO.

Your circumference diff is the following: Stock is 1984 mm (78.1'') vs the 60 series tire at 2047 mm (80.6'')

Speedo difference is: When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.9mph (99.7km/h): 3.2% faster.

I would have chosen a tire that closely matches the stocker in over all circumference. I just bought a set of summer performance tires (225/45/17 almost identical to the stocker)

Not sure about any MPG difference
