Question Remove Factory Tint

I couldn't find posting about this.

Has anyone try removing factory tint from their xB?

Best example I found online is using fabric steamer... I was wondering if anyone tried it here and find out how it went.

Re: Remove Factory Tint

There's no aftermarket companies like PPG that offer clear windows?

Re: Remove Factory Tint

Yeah... if you guys know any place where I can get the clear windows, please point it out.

I was hoping this would be a cheap "mod" session by pealing off the tint... but I guess not...

They set the price so high because they're out of stock. The clear glass used to be $1000 I believe on myautofashion.

Check with some aftermarket companies, pilkington, safe lite, justice shamrock or call a local body shop and maybe they can give ya some quotes or companies to call.
