Turn signals stuck on... Wtf?
So, was driving to work when I noticed my left turn signals were stuck on.. Fully lit... While I think it is the relay for them that is causing the problem, I'm still not sure.
I swear.. My car has a mind of its own.. In another words.. It doesn't have a care in the world for me. Hah.

Re: Turn signals stuck on... Wtf?
First, check that the bulbs on that side are actually lit (right turn, front right and rear right and dash right lights all light). Then check for a burnt filament in the turn signals on the other (left in our example) side of the car.
The usual cause of flasher issues is voltage issues from a bad bulb. If the bulbs check out OK, then replace the flasher.

So, I've checked on google and haven't seen any issues like this.. It pretty much stays SOLID while driving or revving up. I'm really shocked no one has had an issue like this before.

Re: Turn signals stuck on... Wtf?
So is it just the dash indicator or the lights on one side are staying on? What would happen if you flip on the turn signal or the hazards?

What did you google? bad flasher symptoms? stuck turn signal?
Does your turn signal switch cancel (return to the central position) when you complete a turn?

Yes, however.. After figuring more about this issue- its not related to the flasher... It has to deal with the ground wire, shorting shorting out. I'm going to have to spend hours digging in the chassis for any splits wires that are striped.

Re: Turn signals stuck on... Wtf?
If you have HIDs check those first. I remember when had mine installed one of the wires came loose and was causing something similar to this.

I'll for sure start with HIDS first.

Did you figure this out yet? If you have the side marker modification done you may want to check the splices in those wires, they could have come undone and shorted to ground.

Yep, it was the wire that connects the lights that was ruined- the plastic shield around it was removed from rubbing against my intake.
