Offset Guru Thread

Maybe sticky this, but I know we got some people on here that know wheels good. Anyone with questions should be able to post up and then the gurus could chime in

anyways....

15x7 +19, 15x7.5 +13
or
18x7.5 +33, 18x8 +30

would i rub on either?

Re: Offset Guru Thread

Depends on tires and how far you are dropped

Here is a fun chart I made for showin people specs, with styles:

16x8 +0, 16x9 +0

Conservative Flush- springs, coilovers, or air
15x7 +20, 15x7 +10
16x7 +20, 16x7 +10
17x8 +30, 17x8 +20
18x8 +30, 18x8 +20

Hella Flush- springs, coilovers, or air
15x8 +25, 15x8 +10
16x8 +25, 16x8 +10
17x8 +24, 17x9 +24
18x8 +24, 18x9 +24

EXE/Lux- coilovers or air
15x8 +20, 15x8 +10
16x8 +20, 16x9 +20
17x8 +20, 17x9 +20
18x8 +20, 18x9 +20

VIP- coilovers or air (planned for -3 camber in rear)
17x8 +15, 17x9 +10
18x8 +15, 18x9 +10

Extreme VIP- stiff coilovers or air (planned -6 rear, -3 front, pulled fenders)
17x8 +0, 17x9 -10

Re: Offset Guru Thread

 to scottytuned cuz hes the sheeeeeit.

yeah im dropped about an inch now, gonna prolly switch out to df210 again for time being, then going air down the line most likely. the first set i should be okay because they arent even 8 inches wide, and the second, the offset should be okay.....hmm.

Re: Offset Guru Thread

Depends on what you are after in terms of looks. Im partial to the smaller rims. (15/16/17 on unkitted rides, lip kitted cars) Thats my partial/biased opinion. What are the specific wheels you are looking at?

Yes, with 205/40's definitely. I wouldn't stagger tho if that's an option... I would have the +22's all around and maybe OTG shims in back.

Re: Offset Guru Thread

I'm dropped about 2 ish inches i guess. I'm on Tein S-techs , Monroe sensatracs (Echo shocks) front and rear.

I Was running
17x8.5 +25 with 205 45 tires and no camber. The wheels poked out a little. I was also rubbing a little . probably should have gone with a 40 series tire.

hope that helps anyone who is trying to decide on wheel fitment .
