Post your Spring/Shock combo's

Ok, so there are LOTS of threads that pop up randomly, or questions being asked about "will I rub if I run...."

So hopefully this will help to aid those looking for stance solutions.

Lets keep it Springs and Coilover only. No air ride, since you're ride height can change in milliseconds.

Springs: D2 coilover
Shock/Struts: D2
Wheel Sizes: 15X7 +10 Drag DR20
Tire Size: 180/60/R15
Other: Control arm, Sway bar end link bushings, Progress rear sway bar, Stripped rear interior
Driving style: Aggressive back road, SCCA events, Daily Driven
Pictures:

Comments:
Rubbed with out fender's rolled. Rubbed during aggressive bumpy turns. However, solid ride, nearly zero body roll, tuned to style spring preloads, and full firm dampening.

Springs: Tanabe DF210
Strut/Shock: Front OEM Tokico, Rear KYB GR-2
Wheel Size: Drag DR20 15X7 +10
Tire Size: 180/60R15
Other: Progress rear sway bar, Energy Suspension Control arm bushings and Sway bar end links. Stripped rear interior
Driving Style: Aggressive Back road, Daily Driven, Long Hauls.
Pictures:

Comments: Nearly perfect, could be a tad stiffer and 3/4" to 1" lower to have control arm's flat. KYB GR-2's provide good firm ride, and help to keep rear end semi-squared with the front. But not fully. http://www.clubxb.com/forums/f26/kyb...iew-27145.html <~~ Read the full review I did. No rubbing issues.

I like this thread. So, no post whoring or thread jacking in this one, 'cause it will be deleted. Follow the example of the thread starter, and post in a similar fashion.

Re: Post your Spring/Shock combo's

Springs: TEIN S-Tech
Shock/Struts: Monroe Sensatracs (rear only, OE up front)
Wheel Sizes: 15X7 Sportmax 940
Tire Size: 185/60/R15
Other: Carbing Type V Front Strut Bar, Carbing Rear Frame Brace
Driving Style: Push it hard in the turns when I find myself in more rural areas
Comments: No rubbing, not even close. Common entry level spring/shock setup. Ride quality is great, much better than OE with aftermarket shocks.

Re: Post your Spring/Shock combo's

Springs: Tanabe DF210

Shock/Struts: Waydo Sportivo

Wheel Sizes: 18x7.5 +42

Tire Size: 215/35/18

Other: TRD/Waydo Sportivo Strut Bar, Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex Front Endlink Bushings, Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex Rear Bump Stops, Hotchkis 29mm Front Sway Bar, Tanabe Sustec Front Under Brace, GTSPEC Mid Chassis Brace, TRD SCP10 Rear Frame Brace, TRD 22mm Rear Sway Bar, Whiteline 22mm Rear Sway Bar, Weapon-R Trunk Cage

Driving style: I keep it legal on the daily drive, not so much during Autocross or Road Racing

Pictures:

Comments: I'm going for the soft spring & stiff bar combo, which is arguably the best daily/sport setup. The rears rub on huge dips on the highway due to the spacing (TC Sportline 25mm Front & Rear Wheel Spacer Adapters, Alliance AutoSports 19.05mm Rear Spacer Shims). Rear fenders are completely rolled, too. Ride now, I think I've found the ride I'm looking for, nice and neutral.

Edit: Right* (I want my edit button back)

Re: Post your Spring/Shock combo's

I like this thread!

Springs: D2's

Shock/Struts: D2's up front and Koni Yellows in rear

Wheel Sizes: 15x8 +15

Tire Size: 195/50/15 With a 10mm Hub Spacer in rear

Other: Greddy Strut Tower Bar

Driving style: I live in the mountians...With a lot of canyons...I wont say Im really agressive...But Im not a light driver..Haha!

Pics (sorry I dont have many with the spacers, just installed em yesterday)

Comments: At this ride height and stiffness, I rum in the front on really big dips going over 60. The rear hasnt rubbed at all, yet....Its a stiff, kinda bumpy ride for DD...But I deal with it..Haha! Scrape everythig up...Keep on rollin

*I put the spacer specs in the wrong spot :/ (I needz edit button)

This is such a beautiful shot. Shows all the awesomeness of a performance suspension, and somehow, its freaking spotless. Just another reason why I love your ride Kevin... It'd be better if you ditched them heavy ass TRD wheels though

It's not as spotless as the photo tells it to be I will be taking another shot just like it soon, as I recently upgraded my suspension setup. When the photos are complete, I will update my information here.

And quit knockin' me for my heavy ass wheels lolol. I bought these wheels with the box because I loved the look of them. I don't consider myself to be fickle with my wheels (or my money, for that matter).
