How to post picture on this site.

FYI: Any picture exceeding the size limit for this site will be automatically resized.

A. Downloading images from your computer, to host account, and to post on the forum.

Step 1
Locate the image on the computer hard drive that is to be posted.

Step 2
Host the image that is to be posted. There are many image hosting services on the Internet that can accomplish this task such as, Photobucket or ImageShack. Follow the steps on the hosting site that was chosen and upload the image from your computer.

Step 3
Obtain the source address for the image. Once the image is hosted it now has a source address. The source address is the images location on the host server. A source address appears similar to an Internet site address with one exception there is no www in the source address.

Step 4
Insert the source address inside image markup tags. Markup tags are what enable the blogs and message boards to differentiate the image from regular typed text. An example of these tags is between the following quotation marks "[IMG] insert web source address [/IMG]" or use the "Image Icon" from our forums reply box. See picture below. By using this method, you will not need to use the img tag. "[IMG][/IMG]"

Step 5
Click "Preview Message/Post" to make sure that you have uploaded the picture properly before submiting your message.

Step 6
If everything is good, then click "Submit Message/New Thread" and you're done.

FYI: You can practice by sending yourself a Private Message.



B. Downloading images from your computer, to post on the forum via “Attachment”
FYI: By using "Attachment", your picture image will come out to be a thumbnail size.

Step 1
Click "Manage Attachments" from your reply box.



Step 2
Click "Browse" and choose the picture from your computers hard drive, then click "Upload" to upload picture.



C. Posting Images from the Internet

Step 1
Locate the image on the Internet that will be posted.

Step 2
Obtain the source address of the image. Select the Image and right click. From the menu select properties. In the property display box select and highlight the address. Right click the mouse and select copy.



Step 3
Paste the source address into an image tag as follows between the quotation marks: "[IMG]insert web source address[/IMG]" and then post it.

We hope that you become a solid member of this unique community of xB/bB enthusiasts.

As members of CLUBxB, we encourage new members to post your new threads that are helpful to the community. PLEASE, NO POST PADDING just to get your post counts up. EXAMPLE: “New guy here posting to get more post”, "that’s cool", "not feeling it", "love it", or "that’s gay" etc., nonsense posts and remarks just to get your post count up, will be deleted or banned.

As a new member, you will be limited in some of the features that are available on this site such as, starting your own thread or viewing and posting pictures till you reach certain number of posts. These regulations are put in place to discourage spammers (porn, advertisement, etc.), which are not tolerated on this site. Please do not take it personal if you can’t start a thread, or post pictures immediately. You will be able to start a thread after 10 helpful/informative posts, and 30 to view/post pictures.

Before you start to post, PLEASE read the entire “Announcement” available in each categories. These “Announcements” are posted for the benefit of CLUBxB and its members.

Please keep your product threads in the Vendor's forums.

Vendor Policy

Though we do have paying advertisers who help support our site, we do not allow the promotion of products and services in our public forums. Our forums are not to be used as a means to produce revenue for your business. Do not use our public forums to announce new products, pricing, availability, market feedback, etc. This applies to ALL vendors who participate on our site - both sponsors and non-sponsors. Sponsors are allowed to promote their business in our Vendors forum ONLY. They are not to discuss their products outside that forum.

1. No spam, self promotion or advertising of products you sell or services you provide outside the vendor forum in any way - PERIOD. Soliciting our members via the Private Message feature or Email Feature of our website is also strictly against the rules and can get you banned instantly. Do not send any unsolicited messages to our members.


2. Mentioning your products in a thread where a user is not specifically asking about your products is prohibited. When a member does ask about your products, keep the discussion tech-related. There should be no mention of pricing, product availability, ordering info, contact info, etc outside the Vendor's forum.


3. We don't allow customer service discussions in the forums. Resolve all issues outside of our forums.


Sponsors do receive the special privilege of posting in the Vendor Announcement forum, but the rules above apply to everyone. Our moderating team will remove all content that we feel violates this policy in the public forums. This means that messages containing spam-like content will be edited or removed completely. If the vendor continues to violate the policy, they may be temporarily suspended or banned permanently. If you want to get the word out about your products/services or your business. Do not use our forums as a marketing tool.
