Directions to change headlight bulb

Hi. I was wondering if there's a guide somewhere that shows how to change the headlight bulb on stock housing. Also, I bought a bulb but I'm not entirely sure if it will work on stock wiring. Its silverstar ultra 9003/hb2 su/2. I dont really have a manual so could you guys point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Re: Directions to change headlight bulb

Changing headlight bulbs is simple. You simply need to remove the rubber sleeve that sits over the back of the bulb, and unplug the bulb from the harness. You'll see the bulb is just held in by a metal pressure clip. Squeeze the correct point and you'll be able to swivel the clip back and remove the bulb. Installation is just the reverse.

Silverstars are just plug and play, you don't need to do anything special for them.

Dang, PCH there for the win with the link

Re: Directions to change headlight bulb

awesome. thanks!

well. That was way easier than I had expected. Though, I may have bought the wrong color. I thought that I'd have that blue tinge on my headlight but i guess not. Ah well. cant return it now. lol
