Changing the serpentine belt

I searched the forum and can't find anything that matches... does anyone have links/pics/info on changing the serpentine belt? it's about that time with my car and i'd rather do myself if i can get the knowledge rather than take it to the shop and pay who knows how much. thanks

Re: Changing the serpentine belt

See how they look. Small cracks on the inside, hardened or glazed, etc means time to change. I'm at close to 70K and thinking about it.
You better not be stalking me Johnny

back onto topic:
lets say you were not worry about checking on the belts since there isnt any squealing noises from it, what are the affects (if theres any) of loosen belts?

Re: Changing the serpentine belt

They can come off the pulley or break without warning. You will not be able to drive a car. That will totally ruin your day.
