Trial and Error: Z man's build

Hey guys. I would really like some input on the progress of my xB.
This is the first car I've owned, second I've used as a daily though.

What would you give my car out of 10?
12/11/10

I know the chrome trim doesn't match the exterior very well. I should get it powdercoated black or something.

low beams rewired so highs/lows work simultaneously

Thanks Customxbgauges!

Thanks bbzero

My "system", haha, it has a little bump to it, but not enough. It's very well hidden with the seat back however. I need help finding a good sub/amp combo for $300 or so if possible.

Thanks L0st!

I know the exterior and interior don't flow, they are separate entities.
Any input is welcome.

My project list now:
tweets up front
sub/amp
new left fender(it's dented)
custom exhaust
rear springs that ride "decent"
door fabric (I have some white/black pattern but it may not look good)
VIP table for shelf

Please be harsh

I'm in love with your car!
Score 1-10 (10 being the highest) I'd give you an 8. Now if your interior flowed better my score would probably be higher. Blacked out interior with Black leather clazzio seat covers with gold stitching would be SEX!!

It's hard to have a 10 point car in my books.

Yeah that would be a nice interior color choice. I can't go back though, and I have a fancy for blue as it is. =]
Blue looks bad on the outside unless I got the thing painted blue, lol.
I also like me some red, but it's too loud to be a main color!

I wouldn't space the rears anymore than 5mm.
That would get him pretty close to the fender lip.

I have 5mm ones that I took off actually. I could try them again, but I like not rubbing for once.

I will see about it when I figure out what springs I want for the rear, because the Progress springs ride like crap. I have Koni's on full soft in the back and it's still really really bumpy.

Hey lowbox, did you paint your tails on the inside to get the bottom part red?

Re: ZMAN'S 05 BSP xB

I wanna get some Testor's amber paint for the sidemarkers, that would be a nice touch.

I just bought tweeters, should I put them in the triangle piece on door or in the A pillar?

if theres enough space behind the pillar, put them in the top of it.

In the top? Near the roof? Would that look weird?

I got Alpine ones to match my doors, I want them to be mounted and look good.

Re: ZMAN'S 05 BSP xB

Zach, I'd throw at least 10-15mm spacers on with the camber. And looks like the fenders aren't rolled in the pic, so that would be a must. I love the seats dood, i think a simple blue stripe or graphic on the exterior would tie it together.

what's the license plate mean?

Hub Spacers * Camber * Plate Mounts * HVAC Knobs * NS Wheels *Clazzio Seat Covers * Grip Royal steering wheels* and more.....

THE FACTORY HAS COMPLETE AIR RIDE KITS STARTING AT 1,425!

I'll add 5mm and see what it's like. I was rubbing at the front of the wheel well, not the top.

I'm not sure what kind of blue graphic would work just yet.

I did a bit of rolling with a ball bat, but not enough. I heard the fender rolling tool doesn't do a good job, is that true?

Ha, my plate was made 4 years ago when I played racing games online a lot,
PPR (PurePerformanceRacing, I didn't make it up lol) and I'm ZMAN. My Playstation Network name is still that, add me if you play Black Ops or Gran Turismo!

Did you use a heat gun too?
So I should just smack the fender lip outward?

5mm wheel spacers added, it looks much better, and I only rubbed once so far on a large bump.

I can tell that 10mm's would proabably fit with fender work.
