| Show me your deep lips! I am in the market for some deep lip rims. Right now i have the AXIS widetrack in mind 60mm for the front and 90 mm for the rear. they are pricey, total asking price i found cheapest was like 1450 with tires
I know there are ppl out on this forum that have some nice butt rims. Please provide me some inspiration by showing me your deep lips!
Pics would be great as well as the website (if you did get them from a website), price would be much appreciated. Cant wait to see your rims! |

| Re: Show me your deep lips! I read that using 0 offset would tear up the wheel bearings and suspension parts, plus cause the car to wander on the road. How does the car handle? I think they look great, but I am not sure if I want to compromise safety and stability. Please let me know. Thanks |

So contact is still spread over the same amount of area pretty much. A little shake at around 80mph, but I never had them balanced, just mounted. I could see there being a problem if the wheel was 6.5 inches wide at 0 off-set. Negative camber would add to the problem, but they don't make camber kits for the 08' yet. Quote:

Yea, finished buffing the two-tone Friday. Absolutely Red, matches my interior.

| Re: Show me your deep lips! ok guys i need ur help since i don't know much about tires n such.
i was originally looking at the 18/8 40offset. 60mm fronts and the 90mm rears. I dont like the stretched tire too much so i was thinking the 225/40-18 tires. and i dislike modding even more (rolling, cutting, bending, etc..)
now i did see the 120mm and they are indeed sick. on elementwheels. they have the 60mm fronts 40 offset and the 120mm rears 20 offset package. will i be able to run the 120mm rears without having to roll fenders or anything? what size tires can i run? can i still go with the 225/40-18?
also, i will be running the tanabe nf210. so that will lower the ride somewhat.
im really confused now!! any help please? |

| Re: Show me your deep lips! yes, but the rears would be the 120mm lip with a 20 offset. does that change anything in regards to the type of tire that i need?
mods to the fenders? |

| Re: Show me your deep lips! i run 16x8 +21 offset/ oem infinti g35 rims...which are 19x8.5 +33 offset.
i could use some spacers for both of them...like the 16's i could possibly come out another 20-25mm and the 19's possibly another 5mm?...so sorry i can't give you a definite answer but alot of people are after so many different looks. personally, i do not like the wheels sticking out past the fenders...the most i'll ever go is slightly rolling fenders....i'll post some pics after work...and you can see for yourself. pic=1000 words.

| Re: Show me your deep lips! yes if you go with 8s 0 offset, you will need to roll and pull your fender or no one will be able to ride in the backseat....I am fixing to do phase 2 of fender rolling this weekend. |
