Pink Rims?

Any idea where I could find or buy pink rims for my new 08 at not a ridiculous price? I am thinking under $200 each if at all possible lower than that--I looked at the jlines and they are like $500 each--there are some on ebay at a good price but they are not the right size for the new XB.....

Isnt it like 5x108 or something odd...And pink rims? Find what rims you like...get them painted. Probably only option

How and where would I get them painted--I think that's a great option (sorry I really am new to this)...

For one, pink is very rare - not too many are brave enough to rock pink. Secondly, the few pink rims there are were made mostly for civics and other compact 4 lug cars. 08 xB is 5x114.3 which is more common for larger sedans, meaning fewer crazy color. Best bet is to go custom (which will probably end up totaling more than $200 each) or DIY (spraycan).

Anyone can paint them for ya..long as its done right or maybe powder coating...thats debateable on rims..

I think Padanky does some powder coating at the shop he works at, but you would probably have to pay shipping (back and forth) and pay for powder coating. So not really sure if it would be worth it.

Well maybe I could buy a set on ebay have them ship directly to someone who powder coats and then have them shipped to me--How would I find someone who does this kind of work in my area. I would be willing to travel to Indianapolis or possibly even Chicago to get pink rims--it is of utmost importance LOL!

I am also thinking of having some custom pink decals from likwidart...I will have the girliest 08 xb on here.....

your car would be awesome....my advice buy wheels on ebay or find in myspace ads in other classified in the internet then look for a local shop that will paint or powder coat your wheels but in my estimate you will spend more than $200 each wheel or if you want to save more just ask some of your handy friends or find some video how to paint then do it yourself....i know its not easy for you but you can do it with the right tools and follow step by step procedure

The thing about powdercoating is if you want the lip different from the spokes, or anything that will need taping it will cost more. The local shop around here they said for a set of 15s spokes only in neon green was 150 a rim because the neon is a dual process. But for my 18s to get done in all black would only be about $300 for the set.

Wow those look great! I found there are a ton of places in Indianpolis that do the powder coating and I found one place that mentioned 1 process dyes are only $40 per wheel which I think is decent! Now I just need to find some cheap rims. I really don't care what they look like--I just want pink!

Do you know what type of material they need to be in order to do the powder coating? For instance what if they already are--like black or white--can they still do it or do they need to be clean metal!

Maybe someone on here knows someone selling some stock sized rims for an 08 xb?

I think you can powdercoat over anything, but clean metal probably would be best. Also they have to withstand a decent amount of heat and not bend.

those wheels on that tC are konig supermesh in the limited edition pink. i was going to get some. they are $375 for 4 wheels
