It doesn't have to sit for 24 hours. When I did my last car I only let it sit till it was dry. Use a blow dryer to help it dry a bit if its not hot outside.

I directly painted them on the car. I just taped off the parts I didn't wanna get painted. =D

man, take if from me, Im a art major...orange and blue are complimentary colors, there made to go together. It looks clean. Good job

pshhhh if you want to get that into it. . .

with the modern RGB/CMY scale, real blue complements/sits directly across from, real yellow
buuut if you're using a traditional Blue,Yellow,Red color wheel, as many artists still do, blue triangulates with red + yellow, making orange. . . so, depending on how you look at it, yes and no.
