Not trying to take over thread at all, I was thinking the same rims for my 6.0 as OP but decided to go with a chrome finish. I'd love to lower it but have a concern or two about it being bumpy. Midwest roads aren't the smoothest.

Re: My new wheels on RS 6.0

I'm new here, and i've owned nothing but sports cars my whole life, so call me crazy but I like the look of his/her ride not lowered. To me, especially with the black, it looks like a tough Xb SUV, lowering it would make it more like a car imo.

Nice wheels, I'm waiting for my 19" DC-5's black w/red lip. They should be here next week. White with black wheels should be interesting.

Re: My new wheels on RS 6.0

I was concerned about lowering my car and sacrificing the ride, for my driveway is a front lip eater and there are many bumps and dips around here. So the only thing i did was lower my rear with 1st gen oem stock springs, took me about 30 mins by myself, and it did the job even the drop with the front. Very satisfied because it looks great and still handles just the same. I only got the springs for 40$ im pretty sure you can come up on deals like this on forums and craigslist.

Kind of hard to tell, but it gives it an even drop all around with out slamming your car.

Re: My new wheels on RS 6.0

I purchased the TRD springs. The lower the xB 1" in front, 1.5" in back. The ride is slightly firmer, but not at all rough.

Get rid of those tires and see how it handles then, its like a totally different car!!! Those tires have horrible sidewall strength

haha, im kind of trying to wear my stock tires out a little faster, only have like 4500 miles. I still need to do some research on rubbers for my car, going to end up changing them out maybe at 10k. I love putting new tires on, its like a new car everytime!

Love everything about it. Beautiful wheels. Wish I had the cash to run Tenzo's, but I am going to settle for some XXR's. A little drop and that thing is perfect.

I do want to drop it, but I don't want too bumpy for my kid. Any good suggestion?

Thank you very much! I used to have a 05 White xb, but with kid coming in a few months therefore, I bought a bigger box. This is a perfect fit for me. I still like the mpg of the old one, but the new one has more room. I almost got a SUV... lucky that I didn't.
I have the Tanabe NF210 and it feels pretty damn close to stock, my GF hasn't noticed the ride is any different.

like the tenzos best on this thread. trd drop is pointless, barely even makes a difference. just my opinion
