| Re: Biggest Possible Tire Size on 09 OK I have 2 Nankang NS-II tires (245/40/19) on my Tork Imagine 19x8 +35 rims on the front of my car ONLY and so far very very light rub. Only when reversing through a Cali driveway dip and turning wheels at same time. Until I get them on all 4 I can't be 100% sure they won't rub more. I haven't been past 45 mph as I haven't gotten an alingment yet, the MiraMar Discount Tire "was mistaken" when he said he can get me 2 more Nankang's before end of July. I also suspect they put a small shallow scratch on one my rims although I had no way of proving it, they denied it and I wasn't in the mood for a fight so I didn't make a big deal out of it. I'm hoping it will buff out sometime in the future. So now I have to get 2 Nankang's from somewhere else and mount them. Pics below...
I really like the way the fill out the fender and are quite aggressive offset for the front. I'm very happy with them but realize I may have to stretch the fender a bit or try and tack the black inner fender lining back somehow a 1/4 inch or so. It moves easy just by pushing on it though. If the 235/40/19s weren't so damn expensive I would have went with them.
PS Also the RS5 lipkit takes up some space around the wheel well which is why it looks close between it and the tire. Advice on Hyperblack rims and scratch removal? Thoughts? |
