| anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? I am looking into a set of 0 offset wheels for my 08 and looking for some help. I can only get the wheels in a 0 offset 17 x7. I was wondering if anyone had a setup close to this and has any probles (wheel bearings, rubbing, turning...) ? I also live in RI so the roads suck here, so ride quality is an issue as well. Thanks for the help |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? ur only 17x7 it should be fine.
and 0 looks good on a stock body.
at most you will have to roll your fenders but a soft mallet will solve that |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? I have a black 08 and I am looking at american racing salt flat specials, the painted ones. They are really a hot rod rear wheel drive wheel but I hope they will work. I may be able to order them with a +5 offset. |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? At least you are 3,000 mi away and we probably won't be running into each other. Any pics of low offset wheels on a gen 2 would be great. I really don't plan on dropping the box much. It is a daily driver and my wife is pregnant so I will soon have a little one in back that I don't want bouncing out of her car seat. I don't mind a little bit of wheel and tire sticking out but not a ton. I know a few of you so cal negative camber -200 offset guys don't mind showing some rubber. |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? They look great. Do you have any rubbing, turning or any other problems? How are they on the highway at 80mph. The wider stance must feel nice on corners. I'm trying to find out as much info as possible before I purchase some wheels. If I am going to be burning up wheel bearings then I may go with a higher offset. I am also staying at stock ride height for a while. If I do go lower it will only be a small amount. |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? Yes they rub. I'm on Df210's in the front, stock '05 xB springs in the rear. Fronts rub on almost anything if you have a little bit of speed. Speed humps, quick cornering, dips, etc. Rears rub with three adults in the back and bad roads or dips on Highway. Don't even try Df210's in the rear, Ha. I had to put my 1Gen springs on after a week of the most carefull driving. I need sway bars atleast, probably help. I love the look and feel, If I could get around the rubbing issues, I don't think I could be happy with regular offset wheels now. |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? Hello,
My name is Maurice, and I am also in love with a low offset wheel.
I found the XXR 512 in an 18x8, and I love the hot rod look of it. On their website, they even have a picture of a Gen2 xB with them mounted!
You can see them at: www (dot) xxrwheels (dot) com/sportmax_512.shtml
Sorry, I can't include links in my messages yet!
When I spoke with a tire person at Les Schwab, he said that the +15 offset would require rolling of the fenders, and possibly more work to make them fit without rubbing.
My 2009 xB has TRD lowering springs, shocks and sway bar, so I already have given up some clearance. Anyone think I would be able to run that wheel without too much rubbing? If not, would rolling the fenders be enough to provide the clearance I would need? Could I make the situation better with a particular tire size, maybe?
The xB is my daily driver, so I don't want to make it into something that rubs on every little bump and corner.
Thanks a lot for your help! This forum is by far the best I have found for xB information. It's nice to know there are others who love their xBs like I do! |

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? I have 16x8 0 offset same as padanky but I am running df210s all around on 195/45, I have wheel gap now. However I think you could run a 205/50 and not rub with rolling rear fenders.
This is how it sits with the df210s. I plan going much lower w/coilovers so thats why I went with the 195/45

| Re: anyone running 0 or low offset on a gen 2? no fender flares for the gen 2, when the coilovers are put on the fenders will be pulled and rolled more so they will flare enough to hopefully tuck all the way around! thats my plan of attack for now.
oh yeah and i'm running yokohoma s-drive tires they are amazing!
