| 20s with 225 30 r20 tires on order, how low can i go? My wheels are suppose to be here before the weekend (im excited!) but i want to know if anyone is rock'n a simmilar set up and lowered thier box at all? If so, how much and what kit? Im thinking i could still get away with a 1 inch drop in the front and a 1.2 in the rear. Please let me know, thanks |

| Re: 20s with 225 30 r20 tires on order, how low can i go? I had 225x30x20's on my 1st Gen Xb and thats about as big as you could go without major modification. I had to take a sledge to parts of my firewall for turning clearance. I couldn't get my finger between the gap in front of the rear wheel and lower quarter. Now I have those same wheels on my 2nd Gen Xb with plenty of room! Those size tires are life 1/2 an inch taller overall than the original wheels and tires. So my speedo is practically the same. you should be able to lower it easily without worrying about too much. |
