| XB BAZOOKA Plus I have the OEM Bazooka on my XB, I have to say if you just want good loud music inside your car this will work for you, you can feel the loudness and boom boom base right behind your neck. However, now I want to add a woofer that would make the car standing next to me driver brain shake (maybe that's to loud) but I want to pump it up a bit.
Question: With the factory radio and speakers plus the Bazooka woofer, can I add and extra amp and suffer to my Car. I wouldn't want to take out the Bazooka.
Another idea would be using the Bazooka enclosure and replacing the woofer for a more powerful one and adding the amp.
Bazooka spec:
The subwoofer features an 8" high excursion woofer and 100W amplifier to delivery the deep lows for which BAZOOKA is known. Molded to fit snuggly into the contours of the rear right panel of the car, this VSE delivers all of the low bass missing from the factory stereo without taking up any useable cargo area. (Model: VSE-SCI-145L-07) |

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus That is nice but is also $400 more and you still need to buy an amp. I am on a budget so I think I will get the bazooka one. |

If you want loud music inside the car.. the Bazooka will work for you.
if you want loud music inside and outside. (music to entertain people working on the street while you are at a red light. then go with something else.
I got the bazooka. sounds great.. but it doesn't make my whole car shake. |

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus Bazooka is well known for being tuned higher for boom, and less lows or musicality. Bass is the same as engines - there is no replacement for displacement. That is why I'm considering 2-15". |

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus Installation was pretty easy. It's mostly removing panels and the back seat. The sub comes with drilling templates for the rear quarter panel which was nice. I have the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT which came with my RS, it meant I had to do a little digging for the factory harness, but once I found it the bazooka harness just plugged right in and worked straight away. I bought it from Shipsound.com for $249, cheapest I was able to find it. Bazooka VSE-SCI-145L-07 Toyota Scion xB Powered Subwoofer System ShipSound.com

I had to remove the cargo cover that was already installed in my RS, that what the two holes above the sub are from. |

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus Thanks for all the info.
I really like the cost on this one and how easy it is to install.
Your xB is looking good, I have been following your progress here and on SL. |

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus Looks good.. it's not that hard to install, however i end up printing the installation manual from the bazooka website and took it to a local auto sound and paid them $100 to do it. I was afraid removing the back seat was a hard and difficult thing to do. I live in NYC with no garage space to take my car apart, Kind of scary to do it on the sidewalk.
it's easy. I hear some places would charge $75 to install it. Quote:

| Re: XB BAZOOKA Plus Is there really two different Cargo Cover.? One that can be use with the Bazooka box and one that can be use without a sub.
so confusing,? I need to get a Cargo Cover but looking on ebay i find some that have a warning saying can not be use with the woofer box.
However, Bazooka advertise that this woofer can be use with the scion cargo cover. |
