Hi i am wanting to get rid of my rear door speakers and wire in some 5x8's into the c pillars. my question is the new 5x8's are 4ohm will that mess up my hu or cause distortion or any other problems. just to be clear i am disconecting the rear door speakers and wiring the 5x8's with the rear speaker wire. thanks in advance!!
I have the stock pioneer hu the basic one not the upgraded one. i did install an amp for my subs but it is just a 2 channel so can't use that to power the rear speakers unless i loose the subs.
