| Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? Elemental Designs
I was thinking about getting it, but wanted to know if the enclosure build will produce good tight bass from it.
Is the enclosure for a 12?
What sub do you guys recommend for that enclosure under $200? |

| Re: Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? Ive dealt with ED in the past and never had any problems. Im planning to buy a Xb when I get back to the states and I was planning to buy this enclosure. The enclosure holds a 12 inch sub, its made for a 13Kv.2 but I dont see that sub for sale on the website anymore. Im sure you could probably email them and ask what a good replacement option is for it. I emailed customer service back and forth and they always got back quick. If you do decide to pick it up let me know how it is and what sub you decided to go with. Hope I helped alittle
Thanks |

| Re: Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? Their subs are great, not sure about their enclosures. I wouldn't buy the enclosure and then cheap out on the speaker. I think they also have a spare tire enclosure that runs 2 10's. I have 2 of their 10's in my CC truck and they hit super low, my kid says they make her nose itch... |

| Re: Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? Yes, they make two versions of their custom 2nd gen xB sub enclosure - but both versions (single 12" or dual 10") require you to remove the spare.
I am working on building my own custom enclosure of similar design, but mine will a single SQ10 subwoofer and allow me to keep the spare. The SQ10 ($70 shipped from Elemental Designs) requires a 0.35 cu. ft. enclosure. By flipping the spare, I will be able to make a cylindrical enclosure of the required volume that will fit within the flipped spare tire. So, I'll get a stealth subwoofer that doesn't take up any cargo space and still have a spare tire.
I have all the materials needed for this project. Now, I just need to find the time to get it done. I'll post photos when I do.

Thanks | At the bottom of the page, under "customers also purchased" there is a link to the speaker.. I have never had it, but Big Papa says he has no issues with their speakers, and it's in your budget, and the enclosure was designed for it.
Looks like a good deal for what your looking for, to me. |

| Re: Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? I hate to make my first post negative, but I have to say something. Having seen what ED has done since the beginning (ripping off people's designs for speakers, getting chinese buildhouses to copy speakers, jumping from one buildhouse to another when they don't pay, etc.) I am very suspect of anything that they produce. Also, their sound deadening is some of the worst out there, as far as sticking to the panels.
Everyone can make their own mind, but I won't buy anything from them. |

| Re: Does anyone have the elemental design sub encclosure for trunk? I should have the sub enclosure and sub in a couple weeks. I also used their eDead stuff and it seemed to work well, but I don't have experience with anything else, so I can't compare it. |
