Custom sub/amp rack

I had a system built for the rear cargo area of my xB this week. It is all hidden where the spare goes. Didn't get much response at ScionLife so I had to show off here Best of all it is hidden with a reinforced stock mat for stealth.

Nope, a can of fix-a-flat and lots of friends that have my garage code to grab the spare in a pinch.

Without the side panels (phase 1 of project) was $450 and phase two (the side panel covers) was $100...so being the math wizard I am it was $550. Also, the 1st phase included some "modification" of the stock floor mat back there. Perforated wood added to it then carpeted underneath that to hide it. I already had done the sub and amp in classic boring style. I feel $550 is a STEAL for all the work it was. About 2 1/2 days for the installer with everything.

Yeah, but it's awfully pretty to keep hidden like that...

Re: Custom sub/amp rack

Great setup. Not a bad price either. I wish I knew someone to comission for this kind of thing. Cartoys wanted $150 just to install the amp kit, and then charge $75 for the kit.
