| Re: Custom sub/amp rack I like the setup. I've been thinking about doing something like this, but it's hard for me to let go of the spare tire. I think that once I slap some 18"- 19" wheels, then I might think about doing this kind of setup. Or i've also got a 6.5" JL Audio sub that I might get installed similar to the factory subwoofer option. I'll have to wait and see. |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack Nice setups w/ the custom boxes.
I should probably get rid of my spare as well and use that area for something since the box is dropped I'm not sure the stock jack will even fit underneath if I do get a flat. lol |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack nice set ups! I'm still debating if I really want to lose my spare tire tho... I'm holding out for a company to release a box for the wheel well because a custom box there cost almost $400 for me! |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack yeah it looks fantastic...had to go with something a little more flashy myself .....couldnt resist...but *two thumbs up*. OH, and just a suggestion from an ex mechanic...DONT USE FIX-A-FLAT unless you abbbbbbbbbbbbsolutely have no other solution...and if you do if you just go to get it plugged or something make sure you tell them you used fixaflat and have them bust the tire off and get all of it out because if not it can cause some balance issues and lots of headaches for the techs if they dont know....and its always a good idea to keep your techs happy ....just my .02 cents. |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack These installs look greats guys. I am in the process of getting my system put in but I don't know exactly what I want to do. I, as well, am trying to go with some sort of stealth install.
Do you, or anyone, have any tips on how to get the wires from your car battery to the amp? I plan to install that under the seat. |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack Timmer, your setup is very nice. I like the custom art feel. I always wondered if the carpet changes the sound of the sub any. It looks awesome all covered up, knowing whats underneath... |

| Re: Custom sub/amp rack So Timmer, can you tell us if there is a difference in sound with or without the reinforced carpet?
