Anyone has the CHECKMATE 500+ alarm remote start ?

I took advantage of the Cash for Clunkers Government program, traded my 2002 Dodge Caravan for 2010 Scion XB big change. Now i am in love with my Sizzling Crimson Mica XB.

Anyways, I made the mistake of ordering alarm with remote start from the dealer, after going back to the dealer twice, and making more than 5 calls to have my unit installed, they game me Checkmate 500+ for $759. Just after i get it installed I go by my local shop and they offering me a aftermarket remote start alarm with pager installed for $300
wow" not to say less.

I searched online to get any info on the Checkmate 500+
I found pretty much nothing. only places selling the pager unit
FCC ID: JT3KDL500T.

For some reason, I feel that this is not a Factory Scion kit rather and aftermarket kit.


The unit gives me no problem, but i would like to hear from somebody else if they where given this unit when they ordered from the dealer..

I will take this as, nobody in this forum ever herd of this system.

I am definitely going back to the dealer where i got my XB with remote start and alarm., I was sold factory parts so it should have a scion logo.
