Aftermarket Alarm

Does anyone know of an alarm that can be installed and I will still be able to use the key remote to arm/disarm? I don't want to have 2 remotes/ the key to lock/unlock and the alarm key fob to arm/disarm, I appreciate any info you may have....Bill

Check this out, Bill: Crutchfield alarms - 08 xB

Didn't look through the specs though...

Does the factory alarm use the OEM fobs?

Re: Aftermarket Alarm

you can always just do it how i did. i went with one of the best alarms i could find (viper 5900 fully loaded) and now i have the alarm remote and for a key i just took the regular one with the buttons off my key ring and replaced it with the valet ket. now i just have the remote and key separate instead of on the same one

If I have to do that I will, I got used to the compactness of the "master" key, I like everything streamline;I hate keychaines with all that crap hanging on it.
