UnderGlow Location?

I just got a led light kit for under the xb, Iv installed these things before on other cars and had no problem. But I cant really find good place to attach the lights with out showing the bulbs. It looks like thers some kind of plugs lining the under the side skirts but I just dont know. if any one has done this on there 08 xb pls let me know where you mounted them and pics would be great too. thanks

Re: UnderGlow Location?

those ruber plugs you speak of are the key for the side mounting... i removed them, sliced 2 small holes, and stuck a zip tie in, and back out, then secured the light bar, i'll post pics of that soon, then for the real, theres ample space for that... now the front is where it gets tricky, and i did have to use some black tape for concealment... again i'll work on having pics here for ya

Re: UnderGlow Location?

I just recently put lights under my Xb. I havent had a chance to take pictures yet but i will this weekend and put them up on here for you. I may want to move the sides and the front tho. But the back one is perfect.

Well it looks like pictures never made it, but i;m in a similar situation here with a 2005 scion, it's unbelievably hard to find well lit photos of the undercarriage of these things.

so, the skinny, I'm looking to mount neon's under my 05 and want to get an idea before i get underneath it (limited space, and even more limited time)

(plus until i get 10 posts i am unable to start a thread for the 1st gens.

Re: UnderGlow Location?

i actually took those plugs off from under the side skirts, then just wiggled a zip tie throu the whole, you can see where the the metal and plastic of the side skirts is at, i just wiggled it in between both pieces ill pop out in the back and there you go for the side, the back is easy and the front i actually zip tied it to under the radiator i think it is. the part that sucks is that it dont shine under the car in the front unless i take the mudguards off.
