| IPOD connection I'm trying to use my IPOD in the car with the stock cables that came with the car. I have no luck having it work. I had a friends IPOD and it did work but after I down loaded additional songs onto it, it did not work in my car.
Is it the program I am using that will not let me use my IPOD or is it the type of IPOD?
HELP.....i paid too much money for my XB to have this not work.lol..J/K |

| Re: IPOD connection is it the 2gen with the factory ipod cable? I know this isn't it but have you selected the ipod mode on you stereo? I'm sure you have but I had to mention it. Also, have you tried different songs to see if they all have no sound? It could be corrupted file downloads.
Try playing it with the aux plug and see if that works....if so then it's your factory ipod able thats the problem. |

| Re: IPOD connection If I buy the Ipod connector, do I still need do crank up the volume on the radio and max the volume on the Ipodl? Cause I have to do that with the aux cable. |

| Re: IPOD connection Sorry to thread-crash... I have a 2008 xB with the upgraded Pioneer audio system. it's been working great when I connect my ipod to the ipod cable that came with the car. However, today when I hooked it up, nothing. Tried resetting the iPod, with no luck. Even tried connecting other ipods with still no luck. Any ideas anyone? |

| Re: IPOD connection Pull it out and see if your cable some how got loose. I had a problem with my Ipod and my nav reformatting my ipod fixed it. |

| Re: IPOD connection Dude, mine was when I took off my ipod from my xb2 it doesn't turn on anymore. It works perfectly on the car when I plug it in (on d ipod cable) but wen I disconnect it, it wont turn on.
IDK if my Ipod is the problem or the connection between the ipod and the radio. |
