Re: hid head lights

Got the 6K slim kit from HIDextra about a month ago, got a discount code as well so you might want to email them and see if they still have that going. Very easy to install, works perfectly, looks awesome, couldn't be happier. I'll try and get some pics.

Re: hid head lights

I purchased the H11 kit from HIDextra.com, is there a difference with that and the slim hid kit?

Re: hid head lights

They make two different kits, the "regular" one and the slim balast kit. I went for the slim kit so that it's a little cleaner install, but there is so much room in the XB to put stuff it's really not nessecary. Basically they function the same the ballast are just smaller, sleeker...

I might have to call call them to get the slim kit then....

I guess im sticking with the regular kit, but can people post pictures of where the put the ballasts in the engine bay, so i can get some ideas as where to put mine? THANKS!!!!

I wish there was a HID Plug N Play kit for the reverse light, that would be legit.

Re: hid head lights

Are you running a 35 watt or 55 watt. The 55's are brighter light and still have the color glow where as the 35's have more color to them.
I know what your saying about the rain though!!! I have an S-10 air bagged with the phantom billet grille and if it was raining or the road was wet and especially if I was meeting another car I would have to judge the road by the white stripe on the shoulder!!! But it looked cool!
