Exclamation HELP HIDs TOO DIM!?!

Having a problem with my HIDs.. I posted up a thread a couple days ago sayin I was putting them into the newest dual halo projector headlights on the market, well I did and I thought they were fine until last night. I met up with a few other people in my local Scikotics group to hang out and bs, I first noticed that my HIDs werent as bright as another xB's ((also with aftermarket lights, but not the same ones)), really didnt think much of it until I had to drive home, in the rain, a lot of rain.. Well, I couldnt see, anything, virtually nothing was illuminated, sooo my question is did anyone else run into problem with aftermarket headlights and having HIDs? I dont think its the HIDs themselves cuz I got them from mobilehid, but I cant figure it out. I could use some help...

Your ballasts could be acting up... MobileHID has a good warranty so I would try contacting them for a replacement. Also, where did u get your halos?

Re: HELP HIDs TOO DIM!?!

Just fixed like 5min ago.. I got frustrated and took everything off and messed with it some more. It seems I had the light angled wrong. (Im a dumbass sometimes) Im just glad its fixed now.. But thanks to everyone for their input and concern.

Waited until it got dark and took it out for a drive.. Complete verification, problem fixed. And Id like to correct something I said, that I worded wrong.. I said I had them angled wrong, I dont mean I just had to turn the screw..(That would be really boneheaded on my part.) I had them in at the wrong axis, my aftermarkets dont have notches for the lights, just wire clamps, so they dont "click in", it will just keep spinning. But everything is fine now and I couldnt be happier.
