IS it possible to wrap the headliner without taking it out of the car? of course, I'll have a couple of people helping.

You can but it will look like crap. It's not that hard to take it out and you can do it by yourself.

You'll have glue spray all over your interior.

As I'm writing this I'm changing my mind. No, you can't wrap the headliner while it's in the car.

Re: wrapping the headliner...

the best bet is to take the headliner off....on the second gen, it took me about 2 hours with breaks inbetween.....pretty easy!...plus you can do dynamat while it is off and letting the glue dry....stereo shops will charge upwards $500 on labor to do it....

Re: wrapping the headliner...

It would be ALOT easier to do it outside of the car, if not near impossible to do it in the car. If so, it wouldn't turn out very well! Take the time to remove it and work on it, it's not hard but i'll be alot easier to spend a little time and take it out. I'm getting ready to wrap mine in carbon fiber

Carbon fiber is usually a hard product? how are you wrapping a padded headliner with it? I've seen replacement headliners in CF, but they run arround a Grand...

Re: wrapping the headliner...

I'm using carbon fiber marine vinyl. I was going to do actual carbon fiber smoothed with resin but since I'm going to have a huge hole in my roof from my sliding ragtop, I didn't see the effort in doing it in real CF when your only gonna see the edges.
