| Scion illuminated door sills? Has anyone gotten these installed?
Do they look good and are they functional? Or just eye candy?
Does the cost cover all 4 doors? What's the average install price?
Thanks! |

| Re: Scion illuminated door sills? I have them installed. They gloe nicely in blue. They really don't add much light, more for the eye candy apeal. They are only the front doors, they are too big for the rear doors. I looked....LOL Don't know the install cost, dealer installed mine along with a bunch of other stuff. Kind of a package deal and very discounted. |

| Re: Scion illuminated door sills? I saw on ebay someone doing door sill enhancements..it's just a vinyl overlay...but it might be an alternative to illuminated if you just wanted the "look" without the cost. |

Thanks! | I installed them on my xB and like them ! The fronts are illuminated, the rears aren't. I'd say the front illumination is more useful for indicating the location/height of the sills than anything else, but I guess they provide decoration too. I installed them myself, but the purchase price was about $220 ! I bought them soley to protect the sills, but no doubt others could have other reasons !

Thanks! | Darn, I just realized we're not all talking about the same sills ! Yes, TRDsparks sells a set of illuminated sills for the front doors. I didn't opt for those because I specifically wanted sills on ALL four doors, and there didn't appear to be any such thing on the market (including aftermarket.)
I eventually learned of the set of Rumion sills available through Carson Scion-Toyota, which includes all four doors. That is what I purchased. |
