| removing dash I am trying to remove the silver pieces so I can paint them. I have removed the parts around the gear shift. The piece with the air controls and the one to the left of the steering wheel seem to be attached under the dash pad. How do I remove these two pieces? I don't want to remove the whole dash unless I have to. |

| Re: removing dash if youre talking about the center console, radio, a/c, ashtray, i.e. area, then you need to pull the center console from the bottom silver part. it seems hard to pull, but a careful good yank will do the job. i believe there is a section in the DIY. if not, someone should have pics.

| Re: removing dash its easy. all you do is pull a liitle on the dash right above it then it comes off just stick your hand behind it and push itll just pop off, i took mine off to send to patterntek. its super simple no screws or anything just pops out!!! |

You're right. It's that easy. I had a little more to do because I had to disconnect the HVAC system and power mirror controls, but it still easy. Thanks for your help. Ron   |
