The Pillar airbags do not "break through" the plastic of the pillar, they pop them out and lay then down (they stay attached so as not to become projectiles). Putting the leather on the pillars should pose no issues as long as the installer does not break out all the clips when installing...

The suede does look really good in there for sure. I like the way yours has turned out.

I posted pics of mine since I did go ahead and paint the stuff that I wanted.

has anyone ever tried covering their dash and doors in suede or some material? i dont like feeling and looking at all that plastic, especially when it gets dusty.
