| Re: painted interior version 1.0 i havent done the whole dash yet. but the oval part around the radio comes off real easy. just grab it and pull.might be hard the first time but it gets easier i think ive taken mine off at least a dozen times. |

| Re: painted interior version 1.0 def going to just have to get my post numbers up before i can post pics. what all are you planning on painting im still going to try and paint the outside vents, the door handle where the buttons are and the part behind the handles, as well as the rest of the silver pieces around the lower dash |

| Re: painted interior version 1.0 i am planning on painting the pillars(blue), maybe the glovebox(not sure yet), and all the textured areas on the dash and doors i am in the process of painting silver now. thats all i have planned for now. but im sure ill think of more. |

| Re: painted interior version 1.0 What prep work did you do on the door handle cups and window control armrest panels? Just primer? And did you clear coat? Is the silver a good match for the stock mat silver finish?
It sounds like others beside myself would like to know which brands of paint you used. It looks really good btw! |

As for prep work i just washed the pieces and then roughed them up with sandpaper, then washed again to get dust off. Then i just did 3 or so coats of the color. Then i did 2-3 coat of clear coat to seal it and that makes it a little bit shinier.
I also did my mirror covers and the trim piece over the license plate a while ago and should be putting pictures up of that this week sometime, after i wash my car. |
