ps: the koi are DOPE | As you may know...all the shiney black parts are textured on a stock Xb2. What I did was sand it down with a hand sander. then i just painted the koi and the top coat is Spray Max clear coat. I love this stuff. It's professional quality clear coat in a can. A little pricey and it only lasts a couple of days once activated, but it's really worth the 18 bux a can |

more details mang! lol | yeah..i just sanded it down till it was as smooth as possible. I didnt use a primer, but i used Krylon's Fusion spray paint, which adheres and bonds to plastic surfaces very well. After it dried, it was still noticeably unsmooth, so i just fine sanded until smooth. After that i just painted whatever design i wanted and clear coated and colorsanded after that. and then u have yourself a custom dash BTW i used Spraymax clearcoat
oh yea..i forgot to mention im no professional in anyway...so it can be done by anyone. just some patience and some elbow grease

| Re: New KOI dash version 2 *pics* Wow, that is just amazing! It looks so smooth that at first I thought it was vinyl. Huge reps for hand painting the Koi's.
Pure awesomeness! |
