All the designing and fishes are painted by me with acrylic paint.

To sand the dash of its texture, i used 100 grit to start off. Then lightly hand sand with 600. then with 1000 grit. I did that a year ago so i think thats what i used.

For the clear coat, I mainly used 1000 and 2000 grits. Rubbing compound was used to polish the finish followed by meguires scratch X and car wax to protect the finish just like any car exterior.

Are your gauges from custom xB gauges.com? They do some pretty slick work over there. Either way, very sweet paint job man.

this question has been asked twice, but never answered...
did you take the dash out, or do it still n the box?
if you took the dash out, how hard was it?
i wish you would have done a diy.....

Yea I had to take the dash out. It was my first time taking the any kind of dash out and wasnt difficult at all...
