Re: Gauge cluster led you can purchase the leds and install them yourself. plcc-2 are inexpensive, about .49 cents per, i ordered 20 and took out the gauge cluster, soldered the leds, and installed the gauge in about 2 hrs.

Re: Gauge cluster led I had my gauge lights, steering wheel mode button, window switch, and passenger airbag lights changed by a pro. They are all plc3 leds except for the window switch. If you are awesome at soldering very small leds then just order some plcc-2s. like dino said. Until I get a new face to replace the orange it lights up green.

Re: Gauge cluster led As I understand it you really need to swap out the gauge face as well, right? Otherwise you have blue shining through orange. If I mix blue and orange I get kind of a purple brown

Re: Gauge cluster led I got that kit off Ebay cuz I didn't know it would just be the cheap plcc-2 lights. The kit came fast...with directions...you have to make sure you have a HOT soldering gun to make it happen...that was the only issue we had. But got it done and it looks great. If I were you I would just buy the plcc-2 and it would be cheaper.

Re: Gauge cluster led Yes you need a new gauge face. A good one. Not the cheap ones. The cheap ones have no warning light indicators nor do they shine through very well.

Re: Gauge cluster led Well, I changed my LED cluster to Blue, looks sweet but had to mod the gauge face because it was lighting up as a dull green color. What I did is that I went with a precision flathead screwdriver and scratched out the orange color and now it shines blue. Only catch, it took me about 4 hours to scratch off this color. Though you dont have to scratch off everything, just look at the gauge face thru its backside against a light and you'll see what you have to scratch off.
