Re: Gauge cluster led

Is there anyone in the LA area who does this? I'm not too confident in my soldering skills.

I've done it to my cluster twice now. Once to blue and then again to purple. I'm up near Magic Mountain in Santa Clarita if you need it done.

Kevin, talk to Jason, the blue xB2 from the Magic Mountain meet on Sunday. Custom xB Gauges
That's where I got mine from.

Re: Gauge cluster led

I assume you mean where it tells you what each light means, like check engine and such. If so, the answer is yes. Jason actually makes two panels, the graphics panel in front and a second one behind that has all the warning light indicators written on it.

Re: Gauge cluster led

can't post pics yet or I would have shown you mine. customxbgauges can do anything you want. Mine is the Matrix... I also have the PRiNDL and other area with the matrix. I show you at the next 6flags meet in Nov.

Re: Gauge cluster led

ledmod!!

they have the best quality gauges IMO.. the paper they use it the same that stock gauges are made of.. so there's no bleed through anywhere..

i'm definitely going with their stuff when i do my gauges

Re: Gauge cluster led

Forgot about ledmod. His stuff is good too. A lot will depend on what you want. Ledmod is more different styles of normal gauges an customxbgauges is more graphics intense. Examples are Cesar has his Matrix themed gauges and I have my kids names in Hiragana script above and below the digital gauge and then the normal gauges are done with a Japanese tsunami wave and owl. You sort of have to choose what you want and that'll direct you to which company to go with.

Re: Gauge cluster led

ledmod has stuff like that.. i'm thinking of going with black and white with red leds.. or black and red.. they have one with the TRD logo that looks really sweet.. and they look stock.. same paper and everything
