All Weather Floor mats

Anyone, knows where I can find a plastic floor mat to use as cover on top of the factory scion floor mats.

I have tried a couple of Local shops in NYC and can't seem to find one that would fit my 2010 scion XB.
I am just looking for something plastic to put in there for those rainy and snow days..

Ebay has a plastic set but.. too expensive $177.00 not even the original floor mats are this expensive

Re: All Weather Floor mats

Thanks, That will help a lot , I was over at Strauss auto today, they had over 20 different floor mats but none, in the scion size.. even the one that come ready to be cut up to your size did not fit right.

Re: All Weather Floor mats

i know you can take the mats to a interior shop and get them covered with clear rubber/plastic stuff for a low cost.... or just pull them out and use off brand ones till you wanna show them off and then put them back in.... i donno....

Re: All Weather Floor mats

^^true mine are beat up.... lol and when you get sand/dirt in them its BAD <----i mean BAD as in BAD not BAD as in GOOD

dirt/sand grains have tons of sharp edges on them and under pressure they act as razor blades and cut up your carpet just like in your house and that CUT carpet lays down and looks flat.... fyi

mine are past the "cant i just clean em" stage so someday ill upgrade to some pep boys racing mats ;p jk

Re: All Weather Floor mats

i used to use the cheap heavy duty rubber mats from wal-mart... but after seeing the Scion floorboard... it seems it is bigger... I will check around and see what I can find because here in Indiana we get some nasty weather... I will let you know what I find and put in...

Re: All Weather Floor mats

These are the mats I have:

RubberTite All Weather Floor Mats | Auto Upgrade Direct

got them over a year ago and they still look good.

My wife just got a 2010 Subaru Outback and I will be ordering a set for her car as well.

Re: All Weather Floor mats

I had weathertech mats in my previous vehicle. They are pricey but held up extremely well, and the carpet underneath the mats looked brand new after 3 years.
