Saw some pics of the new cube or box. Interesting, but still does not beat my first gen xb, but like it more than the new xb. sorry guys..just my opinion. here is my quick thoughts and wanted see what everyone else thought.
Looks like a cross between an Element and xB.
Like the window, grill and fogs.
Love the rear door.
hate the folding back seats. Why would you not create a flat surface in the back.
the headliner is cool.

would consider it when my wife's xA dies in 15 years

It's more like a squashed corner cube. I think it's great that the auto manufacturers are seeing the popularity of the box shaped city car style. More competition means better product at a better price, and better public acceptance. Let's just hope that the Cube sells well enough to keep pushing this part of the industry forward.
