| Kid in a runaway ballon! This just absolutely blows my mind!! Child Floats Away in Hot Air Balloon
So many questions are running through my mind at this moment, but none are as important as getting that kid back on the ground safely. Prayers. |

| Re: Kid in a runaway ballon! I'm watching a live feed right now. It's now on the ground, and authorities are checking and measuring, looking inside the cockpit, but they haven't said anything on whether the kid is inside (one story stated that he may not have been inside the cockpit anymore).

| Re: Kid in a runaway ballon! They think he may be hiding because he's afraid he'll get into trouble for releasing the balloon.
Excerpts...
"Authorities are trying to find out if the little boy fell out or was never in the balloon."
"Larimer County sheriff's spokeswoman Eloise Campanella says the door on the balloon does not appear to have been opened.
The boy's fate and location is not known. Campanella thinks it is possible the boy is safe somewhere near his home, but afraid and hiding because of the balloon's release."
God, I hope he's only hiding. |

| Re: Kid in a runaway ballon! Interesting stuff about the parents...
"The boy has been identified as Falcon Heene, son of Richard and Mayumi Heene of Ft. Collins, Colo., ABC News reports. Richard Heene is a storm chaser and scientist. The couple twice appeared on the ABC show "Wife Swap," according to the network." |

| Re: Kid in a runaway ballon! the balloon was never made for anyone to go inside of, if he did somehow get inside that little part in the bottom, and the entire thing was filled with helium, he wouldn't be able to breathe. . . hmmmm |

| Re: Kid in a runaway ballon! My wife called me at work to tell me they found him. And I'm reading the story now, and trippin' off of this.... Meantime the six-year-old boy has raised questions whether it might have been a family stunt.
During a live interview on CNN, Falcon Heene said he heard his family calling his name as he hid in the rafters of their garage. At the time, there was a frantic effort to bring down the balloon safely.
Falcon's father asked, "Why didn't you come out?" The boy answered, "You had said we did this for a show."
After the CNN interview, the father said he didn't know what his son meant.
Out of the mouth of babes... The boy owned his Dad on CNN!!!
