| Holy crap! Made my sub box out of Aluminum!
It's loud. Very loud. Much MUCH louder than I expected. I can't listen to my music at the previous level I did before because it's that much louder. Only way I can is to turn the bass ALL the way down.
My old box was a sealed wood box, with .86 ft air space. I made this box the outside dimensions of the old one, which made it have .99 ft. I don't think the .13 would make THAT much difference.
I've built boxes out of Aluminum before.. But I've never had any good speakers in em (old pioneer's, really) but this is an older Kicker Solobaric. I'll get some pics and video up soon.. I'll even try and get a comparison somehow, of how they sound on video. |
